HVAC Service Technician

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Ability to troubleshoot and use specialized tools to conduct performance testing before and after repairs.

·         Inspect and test the HVAC system to verify compliance with specifications.  This can include testing of electrical circuits for continuity or the testing of pipe, tubing joints and/or connections for leaks.

·         Ability to repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.

·         Identify customer needs, discuss and offer solutions.

·         Accurate reporting on the work order including faults and deficiencies, as well as all time and material expended.

·         Excellent customer service skills.

·         Limited on-call rotation.

·         Support and participate in the Commitment of Excellence Program.

·         Additional duties as or responsibilities as assigned.

.QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Previous HVAC service and troubleshooting preferred.

·         Able to work independently without regular supervision.

·         Must be available for flexible work hours including occasional overtime and a rotating on-call schedule.

·         Must be highly accurate with excellent attention to detail

·         EPA Certification required; NATE Certification preferred

·         Ability to be insured to drive a company vehicle.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

·         Requires the ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 55 lbs. as needed.

·         Requires working outdoors in varied environmental conditions.
