Accounting Assistant

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:

·         Maintain accounts payable and receivable documentation.

·         Print invoices and match to receiving paperwork.

·         Maintain inventory handling procedures, including audits, adjustments and transfers. 

·         Data Entry to prepare assigned reports.

·         Import Purchase Orders.

·         Post Material Requisitions and Job Cost transactions.

·         Follow-up with Vendors on issue with Invoices and Receiving

·         Enter Sub-Contractor Purchase Orders

·         Train with other accounting team members to serve as a backup.

·         Back-up receptionist to handle incoming calls.

·         Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Previous accounting experience preferred.

·         Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.

·         Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

·         Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-resolution skills.
